| Cabana Construction |
The Cabana Construction is COMPLETE!
At the 2007 annual HOA meeting, the idea of a pool cabana was discussed and
approved by the quorum of residents who attended. Currently, there is just
one small area of shade for those who do not want to be in the sun. The new
cabana will provide an area of shade for those who want to watch their
children as they swim and for those who just want refuge from the sun.
The cabana will have electrical outlets for your fans and radios and will
have two ceiling fans up at the ceiling to provide a cooling breeze.
The existing pool house needs to be re-shingled as those shingles are more
than 10 years old. In light of this, we will have the ability to make the
roof of the pool house and the roof of the cabana look like one continuous
structure. There are other improvements being made as well. The room
containing the pool pumps contains gases and fumes which need to be vented
and they will be - out the top of the roof and well away from residents
enjoying the pool. Additionally, the fuse box in the pump room has been
exposed to those gases and the resulting corrosion presents a fire hazard.
This is being changed for the safety of everyone.
Your board officers solicited multiple bids. We requested portfolios,
references and detailed item by item bids. We chose the builder based on
personal character and job skills in addition to the dollar amount of the
job. We are trying our best to be good stewards of your money!
We are proud of our pool amenities and hope you agree. Changing the fence
and adding the cabana surely makes our pool one of the nicest around and
will make a positive impression on those who come to check out Ennfield.
The cabana is slated to be finished by the time the pool opens and we hope
you will come down and enjoy the relaxing shade it will offer!
Thank you -
The Ennfield HOA Board
